Folkpartiet is marked by human rights, individual freedom, business friendliness and other fundamental liberal values.

Through SILC, Swedish International Liberal Centre, Folkpartiet is active in international work to develop democracy and human rights in corners of the world still living in totalitarianism. If you're interested in pro-democracy work and activism, don't hesitate to contact SILC.

 

Local poltics

In Haninge, Folkpartiet has six seats in local Parliament and is in office governing the municipality together with its coalition partners. Municipal politics concerns schools, elderly care, social work, roads, housing and more.

Liberals participating in municipal politics in Haninge meet evenings bi-weekly in a group meeting, "kommunpolitisk grupp" (KPG). The meetings provide briefing, guest lectures and is a forum for political discussion. All members are welcome, whether you're a regular, dropping in once in a while to hear the latest or a newcomer eager to learn more.

 

2010 Elections

Do you concider yourself liberal? Vote for Folkpartiet in the municipal election on September 19, 2010! You do not have to be a Swedish citizen. In order to vote, you need to be registered as a citizen of Haninge and you must have lived in Sweden for the last three years.
